Q. What happens when I pay £100 to reserve my order?
A. We contact you to arrange a site survey, and we bring a small show vehicle to demonstrate the product and all of the operating features.
Q. What happens if I have reserved my order for £100 and decide to cancel my order when the surveyor calls. If for instance I don't like the door, or if there is a problem with measurements?
A. Your reserve deposit of £100 is refunded in full. You have complete rights to cancel the order with a full refund of all monies at anytime before AND for a period of up to 7 days AFTER the surveyor has visited you.
Q. Will the price increase, are there any catches or gimmicks not included in the price agreed on this site?
A. No, the price will not increase at all. There are no hidden extra's and no additional cost whatsoever, providing the width of the door ordered is more or less the same when our surveyor calls. Everything is included in the price, even a new frame is included in the price!! We are VERY straight forward and you can order with total peace of mind that the price agreed, is the price you will pay.
Q. Why is the price so cheap?
A. We are one of the UK's largest manufacturers. We do not 'buy doors in' we manufacture our own brand. SEGURO! is a brand name, and is becoming nationally known as one of the best quality garage doors available. All of our fitters are employees, we never use sub-contractors. The quality of the product and of the installation is second to none. There are many garage door companies who 'buy products in' and then add huge profit margins. Indeed it is the case that many members of the public buy this exact door from another 'garage door company' for in excess of £2000!! We agree it is difficult to find a door of this quality installed for such a competitive price; that's what makes SEGURO! so unique.
Q. What happens in the event of a power cut?
A. All SEGURO doors are installed with a manual override. This enables you to open the door easily by hand.
Q. What maintenance is required?
A. The doors are maintenance free.
Q. What are the doors made of?
A. All doors are made of double-skinned aluminium, insulated with CFC free foam.
Q. Do you dispose of my old door?
A. Yes, this service is free of charge.
Q. Do your doors come with a guarantee?
A. Yes, all of our doors have a 12 month manufacturers warranty covering all parts and labour. But don't worry, our doors are extremely reliable and all components used are fully tried and tested, and of the best possible quality!!
Q. How long does it take to fit a door?
A. Our fitters install two doors every day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. So it takes just a few hours. Remember we only use employed fully trained engineers and craftsmen, and they fit garage doors every day.
Q. How do you connect the power supply?
A. There needs to be some power inside the garage, but essentially a garage door is similar to any other appliance, it can simply be plugged into a normal three-pinned socket, or wired into a 13amp fused spur if one is available. Our surveyor will organise this, and it's all included in the price.
Q. Is it better to have the door fitted to the back of the brick piers? or between the piers? and where is the roll located?
A.Every site is different, but both options are usually possible. That's why it's important to see our surveyor. He will look at all options and recommend the best possible configuration to suit your garage and your needs.
Q. Do I need a frame? is there a switch to operate the door from inside the garage and does the garage light up at night?
A.Yes a frame is highly recommended, but dont worry, because by buying online you will get a frame included free. Also, by buying online, your order will include our top of the range AEG system, which incorporates a wall mounted rocker switch to operate the door from inside the garage and it includes a courtesy wall light, which illuminates the garage when opened by the remote or wall switch.
